Holidaying alone.

There is always a particularly warm welcome at le Grand Mesnil for those people of all ages who are holidaying alone.

As  a single person myself  I am quite aware of the disadvantages.

If your stay coincides with a quiet spell here, I would be more than happy to act as informal guide/companion.

While not a great cyclist myself, I do enjoy walking and would be only too pleased to keep any guests company exploring the local lanes, footpaths and green ways.

Or relax and just chill out like this lady while you watch me get on with the gardening.

Having spent much time with friends and relatives visiting the D-Day Beaches, Mont St Michael and St Malo and Dinard, I have become quite knowledgable on how best to get there and what to see.

The Phylosophy of the French Chambre d'hotes and Table d'hotes is that the guest shares the hosts table. And as at Le Grand Mesnil I am licensed to serve food, stay and eat with me, there is no need to dine alone.
