Below is a lovely review written by one of my customer last year 2010, which I have copied from the Tripadvisor site. She identifies herself as Cheekymummy, I love that!

We picked Domfront as a half way stop off to Centerparcs Normandy.
The owner is a lovely friendly lady who keeps the place immaculate.
The B&B is small but the rooms are a decent size.
We stayed in the family suite where there is a double room with a secure ajoining twin room. A cot can also be supplied if required.
There is parking onsite.

In in all a wonderful stay and would certainly return.

Thank you, Terry, for a wonderful evening spent in your so comfortable, so peaceful house and for your warm welcome. Thank you too for a delicious 5 star meal - you are an accomplished cook! We loved your courtesy and patience and the time you took to tell us about the area and about your experiences. We would love to come back to this beautiful area and when we do, you will be our first port of call.
Best wishes,
Maggie and Jeff

Just back from spending a few days at Le Grand Mesnil. I was house hunting and my husband and son were cycling. Terry was able to give all of us plenty of useful information! The family suite is beautiful and the evening meals really delicious. We would definitely recommend this lovely B&B which is surrounded by fantastic countryside and lots of interesting places to visit.

merveilleuse soirée en compagnie de Thérésa qui s'exprime très bien en français. Petite révision d'anglais pour nous, la conversation alternée tantôt en français, tantôt en anglais.
Bonne table. Belle chambre, au calme et surtout TRES propre.
A RECOMMANDER.
Avec notre bon souvenir à Thérésa.

My Wife, Maureen, my Brother Keith and his Wife, Kay stayed at Le Grand Mesnil for one week during May 2008. We all arrived shorlly after noon to find Madame Terry waiting to greet us all with a very warm welcome. After being shown to our respective rooms we were served a delicious meal complete with appropriate beverages on the front verandah. During our stay we found that nothing was too much trouble in an evdeavour to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. All the meals were absoulutely delicious and shared at our hosts table often accompanied by warm and enligtening conversation. Our rooms were extremely comfortable and we all would, without question, reccommend Madam
Terry together with her delightful abode to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday.

After the rush and tear of London Le Grand Mesnil is a veritable haven of peace and quiet. Madame Terry made us very welcome and looked after us extremely well, her cooking is of the best and we became " Family ".
All in all a very good holiday with very good company, we will return.

I recently spent a couple of days with my step-daughter , her husband and their young family at Terry's charming B&B. Terry is a wonderful cook and we enjoyed several great meals in her delightful company. The rooms were comfortable and all the facilities were perfect for our needs. We were on a house-hunting trip and she was very helpful coming up with lots of advice and contacts.
I would certainly like to visit Normandy again and stay at Le Grand Menil. Hope to see you soon again Terry.
Sincerely, Catherine
